About GIES.

A weekly intelligence brand on the video games industry, written for executives, investors, and senior analysts. Verification first. Numerical precision. Structured frameworks over prose.

What GIES is

GIES (Games Industry Executive Summary) is a weekly intelligence newsletter and content brand covering the full video games market. It was founded by Emmanuel Rosier in June 2024 and now publishes across three primary surfaces: a Substack newsletter (giesweekly.substack.com), a YouTube channel (@giesweekly), and a LinkedIn company page. The audience is the people who run, fund, and advise on the games industry.

Every Friday GIES ships the weekly issue. Once a month it ships a longer Monthly Takeaway: a structural read of platform shifts, M&A activity, business-model evolution, and player-behavior signals worth tracking for the next quarter. Both formats target senior decision-makers, not consumer gaming readers.
